Warmup Question:
Can you think of a time when teamwork made something possible that you could never have done alone?
Transition:
“Paul rarely ministered alone. His letters mention dozens of partners who prayed, traveled, served, and suffered with him. In Titus 3:12–15, we get a glimpse of Paul’s ministry team and what spiritual teamwork looks like in action.”
Sermon Discussion:
Read the Passage (Titus 3:12–15). Encourage the group to listen for how Paul describes partnership in ministry.
What does a spiritual team look like?
1. They Minister Together.
Titus 3:12–13; Philippians 4:3; Ephesians 6:21; Colossians 4:7; 2 Timothy 4:12
Paul sent and received faithful coworkers like Tychicus, Artemas, Zenas, and Apollos.
Ministry wasn’t a solo effort—it was shared mission.
What do you notice about how Paul includes others in ministry?
Why is it important that Paul names so many people?
In your experience, what are the blessings—and challenges—of serving in team ministry?
2. They Challenge Each Other.
Titus 3:13–14; 3 John 5–8
Paul urged Titus’s team to “learn to devote themselves to good works.”
Spiritual teammates challenge one another toward growth and usefulness.
What does healthy challenge or accountability look like among Christian friends?
How can we lovingly “stir up one another to good works” (Heb. 10:24)?
3. They Encourage Each Other
Titus 3:15
“All who are with me send you greetings.”
The letter closes with warmth, unity, and encouragement rooted in grace.
Why is encouragement such a vital part of ministry teamwork?
How can we make sure our words and presence refresh others instead of draining them?
Application
Invite reflection and discussion:
Who’s on your “spiritual team”—the people you serve, grow, and pray with?
Do you have teammates who challenge and encourage your faith walk?
How can you intentionally build stronger spiritual partnerships this week?
What’s one specific way you can support or encourage someone in your ministry circle?
Closing Thought:
Paul’s life shows that the Gospel moves forward through teamwork. We need each other—to minister, to challenge, and to encourage. Grace unites us for a common purpose: to make Jesus known together.
Close in prayer, thanking God for your team and asking Him to strengthen your unity and love in serving Christ.
